# Marketing, communications and web agencies

## Many customers, many channels, little time for your own work

An agency sells attention and execution, but loses hours moving between request, brief, planning, review and delivery. A workflow can prepare and propose there, while the agency keeps creative judgment.

## What defines this sector

Agency work is **many-to-many**: several customers, several channels, several versions of the same piece. The creative decision is quick; gathering, coordinating and forwarding around it takes time.

The customer is watching too. A draft published without being asked costs more than it delivers. A workflow that prepares and asks for approval fits better than one that publishes independently.

Agencies also work with someone else's brand and data. What is allowed for customer A is not automatically allowed for customer B: separating access is central.

## Suitable processes

### Follow up new requests

A new project request becomes a lead in the CRM, with context, a prepared introductory conversation and a proposed next step. See [sales follow-up](<https://gen8.app/en/mogelijkheden/salesopvolging/>).

### Brief to work package

An intake conversation or email exchange becomes a proposal for tasks with owners and deadlines, in the system used for planning. See [meeting actions to ClickUp](<https://gen8.app/en/mogelijkheden/meeting-naar-clickup/>).

### Maintain content and keep it current

Update existing pages and copy when offerings or prices change, with a proposal for each page and publication by a person. See [maintaining website content](<https://gen8.app/en/mogelijkheden/website-content-onderhouden/>).

### Turn search visibility signals into work

Turn metrics and search data into specific improvements for each page, read only, without automatic changes. See [turn SEO signals into work](<https://gen8.app/en/mogelijkheden/seo-signalen-naar-actie/>).

### Triage customer questions

Classify incoming email by customer file, determine urgency and propose a draft reply with the right context. See [inbox triage with human approval](<https://gen8.app/en/mogelijkheden/inbox-triage/>).

### Reporting for each customer

Fixed questions, fixed sources, a brief explanation of differences — so monthly reporting is not manual work every month. See [compiling management reports](<https://gen8.app/en/mogelijkheden/managementrapportage/>).

## Where the limits lie

Creative choices and brand voice stay with the agency. A workflow prepares, summarises and stages; a person chooses what goes out. We do not publish without approval, even on channels where it would be technically easy.

Separation between customers is a design requirement: a workflow for customer A must not be able to access customer B's data. Search engines' views on AI-generated content change; we make no promises about that.

## Frequently asked questions

Does this take over creative work?

No. It takes over gathering, coordination and handoffs. Deciding what is good stays with the people paid to make that judgment.

Can we configure this separately for each customer?

Yes, and that is the starting point. Integrations and permissions belong to the customer's environment; you can reuse the workflow design.

Does a workflow publish to the site or social media itself?

Only if you explicitly configure that for actions with minor consequences. By default, it is a proposal approved by a person.

## Does this sound like your organisation?

Bring one process. We assess suitability, risk and expected value, and tell you if it is not a good fit.
